Insurance Fees
Student health insurance is optionally available to all full-time and most other students.
Annual premiums are as follows:

Other Fees
Diploma fee. Replacement of diploma as originally issued, $25
Transcript fee per copy, $5
Replacement identification card, $25
Motor vehicle registration and parking garage fees. All persons using campus parking facilities other than metered areas must register their vehicle with the Department of Vehicle Management and Parking Services. Vehicles may be registered at the department office throughout the year. For further information contact Vehicle Management and Parking Services at 803-777-5160.
Estimated Expenses for One Academic Year
South Carolina residents living on campus:
- Tuition, $3,964
- Fees, $150 ($50 matriculation, $100 technology)
- Room and Board (estimated), $4,875
- Books (estimated), $607
- Total: $9,446, no fees; $9,596, with fees
- Fees, $150 ($50 matriculation, $100 technology)
Out-of-state students. Academic costs for nonresidents are $10,904 without fees, or $11,054 with fees, per year, bringing the estimated total to $16,386 without fees, or $16,536 with fees.
These University expenses will be incurred by all full-time students who choose to live on campus. In addition to these costs, students will find that they have expenses for personal and miscellaneous items and for travel. These costs will vary greatly depending on each student's lifestyle. All students should plan their budgets to include these discretionary expenses.
