I want to thank University of South Carolina Upstate for the excellent education I received in the RN-BSN program. The curriculum is built to give nurses the chance to grow academically while simultaneously working in the field. The courses I took strengthened my understanding of evidence-based practice and how to incorporate this research into strong nursing care for my patients. Program advisor Trish Wade and program director Dr. Toshua Kennedy helped me make a seamless transition to the RN-BSN program, ensuring I kept learning during our first year in the pandemic. All my instructors were friendly, practical, and well-prepared. I am so grateful to have studied with compassionate and competent professionals who challenged me to be a force for positive change. Obtaining my BSN from USC Upstate expanded my career opportunities. I look forward to obtaining my OCN certification in oncology nursing to be the best nurse possible for my patients.
