Bio
Mrs. Mary To Lee joined the University of South Carolina Lancaster in 2017 as our new Student Services Program Coordinator and full-time Counselor. Mrs. Lee provides personal counseling services to our students.
Mrs. Lee began her education and career at a local community college earning an Associates degree in her hometown of Kissimmee, Florida in 2006, and then went on to earn her Bachelors in Psychology (2009) and Masters in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida in 2014. She has earned numerous awards throughout her academic career, including Dean's List, President's List, assistantships, and graduated Cum Laude.
Mrs. Lee has served as a graduate/undergraduate teaching assistant for the following courses: Clinical psychology, History and systems psychology, Psychology of women, Sleeps and dreams, Women's mental health, and Psychology of aging. She enjoys teaching and providing a supportive and challenging learning atmosphere.
She has provided therapeutic services in a wide array of settings ranging from residential to outpatient and school-based therapy, serving children, teenagers, and adults of all ages for the past three years through individual, group, and family counseling. Mrs. Lee has counseled individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, bipolar, obsessive-compulsive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, personality disorders, adjustment issues, anger problems, and coping with everyday stress . Mrs. Lee is passionate about assisting others through challenging events and moments, and understands the tumultuous stage of adjusting through college and would love to be a source of support through whatever you might be going through.
Mrs. Lee enjoys spending time with her husband and pets exploring the Carolinas on her free time. You can also catch her creating crafts and handy-woman projects for fun.
