Time      Details

8:30 a.m.

Presenter, Reviewer and Volunteer check in opens

  • All presenters check in in the lobby (upper level).
  • All volunteers check in on the upper level, along the wall just outside of the Columbia Ballroom.
  • All mentors check in on the upper level, along the wall just outside of the Columbia Ballroom.
  • Reviewers check in at various locations:
    • Reviewers for undergraduate students check in inside of the Exhibit Hall (lower level).
    • Reviewers for graduate students, medical and postdoctoral scholars check in inside of the Columbia Ballroom (upper level; look for the flags labeling the check-in tables).

Refreshments will be available on the upper and lower levels beginning at 8:30 a.m.

9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Presentation Session 1

  • Undergraduate student posters, Exhibit Hall (lower level)
  • Undergraduate oral presentations, Carolina Meeting Room A (lower level)
  • Graduate student, medical scholar and postdoc posters, Columbia Ballroom (A, B & C; upper level)
  • Graduate student three-minute thesis presentations, Lexington Meeting Rooms (A & B; lower level) and Congaree Meeting Room A (lower level)
  • Preparing for Graduate School Panel Discussion, Congaree Meeting Room B (lower level)

11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Break and Session 1 Wrap-up

Boxed lunches will be available for pick up at stations throughout the CMCC beginning at 11:00 a.m.

11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.                            

Lunch Break and Keynote Address

All registered attendees with a name tag may pick up a boxed lunch at stations throughout the CMCC.

The keynote address will be presented in the Richland Meeting Room (A, B & C; lower level). Seating with tables will be provided so attendees may eat their lunch while they listen to the keynote speech.

Lunch tables will be provided in several locations:

  • Richland Meeting Room (A, B & C; lower level) for the keynote speech
  • Lower level patio (weather permitting)
  • Under the escalator (lower level)
  • In the area outside of the Columbia Ballroom (upper level)

12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Break and Session 2 Set-up

Lunch service ends at 1:00 p.m.

1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Presentation Session 2

Refreshments will be available outside of the Richland Meeting Room on the lower level.
