Commencements are different lately, but at the heart they're still the same — a celebration of you and your years of perseverance. We couldn't be more proud. Let's celebrate!
In the upcoming weeks, take time to reflect on your accomplishment and don't forget to have some fun, too. It's been a year for the record books, to be sure, but don't let that dim this milestone moment.
Let's get the pomp and circumstance started now as you wait for the virtual ceremony on Sunday, December 13 at 3 p.m. Check out the commencement photo pop-ups in the Russell House and at your college or school, too. Snap images at the iconic campus settings that make your heart race. Prep for celebrating with the graduation gift box that's coming in the mail to your home address as well as downloadable decorations and props that'll get your tassel flippin' with Gamecock style.
Do it for the 'Gram
Iconic outdoor backdrops like the T Coop reflecting pool, the Cocky statue, and the Horseshoe and gates make graduation photos even more remarkable. Here are other can't-miss locations to add to your list! See if your college or school has a set-up just for graduation photos. Head to the Russell House second floor lobby to capture the magic of the time-honored cap toss. That's also the place to grab a photo with President Caslen, too. Remember to share your images with the #UofSC20 hashtag.

Snazz up your final digital memories as a student on social. Search "uofsc grad" on Instagram to find commencement stickers. Don't miss GIPHY sticker goodness and the 'rents can show their pride with Facebook frames. Be sure we can find you by using the official commencement hashtag, #UofSC2020.
Celebrate Your Big Day on December 13
On Sunday, December 13, you can roll right into commencement without shuttles, parking, walking across campus or standing in uncomfortable shoes all day. Join us live at sc.edu/commencement beginning at 3 p.m. for our online event. Whether you're planning a pod party or socially distant soirée, celebrate like every graduate whose last name begins with Z — without the wait!
