|What's Happening||University Technology Services will update the Java application on computers directly supported by a UTS Desktop Service Level Agreement. Computers previously excluded from Java updates will not be updated.|
|Who's Affected||Windows and Macintosh computers directly supported by a UTS Desktop SLA. If you are not sure if your department is included, please contact the UTS Service Desk at (803) 777-1800.
*This excludes Millennium users and other users that have been excluded from Java updates previously.*
|What's The Impact On Me||The update will require that Internet Explorer and Firefox be closed during the update process. They will be automatically closed if left open. A restart will be required upon completion. This update will prompt the user to restart, but will not automatically restart the machine.
