ATI-TEAS
The ATI TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) is designed specifically to assess students’ preparedness entering the health science
fields. It’s part of the basic admissions requirements for nursing or allied health
school.
CLEP
The College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP) helps you receive college credit for what you already know, for a fraction of the
cost of a college course.
UofSC students can earn credit for certain CLEP exams .
GRE
The GRE General Test is an admissions test you can use to apply for advanced degrees including many master’s,
MBA, JD and doctoral programs.
LSAT
The Law School Admission Test measures acquired reading and verbal reasoning skills that law schools can use as
one of several factors in assessing applicants.
MAT
You can use the Millers Analogies Test in applying to the hundreds of graduate programs that accept MAT scores for admission.
ParaPro
The ParaPro Assessment measures your skills and knowledge in reading, writing and math and your ability
to apply those when assisting in classroom instruction.
Praxis Core
The Praxis Core test assesses your skills and content knowledge as you prepare to enter teacher preparation
programs.
Praxis Subject Assessments
The Praxis Subject Assessment tests measure subject-specific content knowledge, as well as general and subject-specific
teaching skills, that you need for beginning teaching.
TOEFL
The TOEFL iBT test measures your ability to use and understand English at the university level. It also
evaluates how well you combine your listening, reading, speaking and writing skills
to perform academic tasks.
