She manages our pre-departure process to help ensure that students have pertinent information prior to their experience abroad. She also liases with our College of Arts and Sciences and Opportunity Scholars program, providing a link between these departments and the Study Abroad Office.
Previously, Allison worked as an academic advisor on campus while completing her master’s degree. Prior to that she taught English in South Korea after serving as a Civic Engagement Coordinator with the Massachusetts Campus Compact, an AmeriCorps*VISTA program.
Allison left the eastern time zone for the first time for her own study abroad experience in Denmark as an undergraduate student and found her favorite part of exploring new places is experiencing local cuisines. She has since traveled and eaten her way through several time zones. One of her most recent travels took her to Taiwan with the Fulbright International Education Administrators Seminar.
