Commencement Tickets

You have worked hard and you will take many memories with you when you leave UofSC. Your commencement ceremony is a special occasion, meant to honor your dedication to your education as you move forward into an even brighter future.

Guest Tickets

Starting on March 21st, students who are approved to participate in the Spring 2022 Baccalaureate, Masters and Professional Commencement Ceremonies will be eligible to claim five guest tickets for their ceremony through their Student Account Manager. Students will need to claim their tickets by April 11th at 5PM.

More information on Commencement deadlines is available on the Registrar's Office Deadline Dates Page

Students will receive their ticket claim link through email along with instructions and other important information. If you cannot find your email, you can sign into your Student Ticket account with your UofSC student email and select the 'Commencement Ticket' option to claim tickets for your ceremony as well.

A ticket is not required for the graduate, only the guests. Once you have claimed your commencement guest tickets, you will be able to print or send them to your guests digitally.

Students who need additional guest tickets will need to wait until the week of April 18th to be informed if any additional tickets are available. Information and instructions on additional guest tickets will be communicated via email at that time.

Clear Bag Policy

To provide a safer environment and more expedited entry, the University of South Carolina Athletics has established a Clear Bag Policy that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought for all events, including Commencement. The policy also includes a list of non-permissible items that cannot be brought into the arena. Guest are permitted to bring one unopened bottle of water. Additional water bottles will be available for purchase at concession stands.

Magnetometers will be used during entry to promote security.

Per University policy, masks are required in all university buildings, including the Colonial Life Arena.

Buying and Selling Tickets Prohibited

Do not buy or sell commencement tickets. If you are found selling or buying guest tickets, your tickets may be revoked and you may not be able to participate in your commencement ceremonies.
