2020-21 Student Ticketing Update
On August, 20, the University of South Carolina Athletics Department
in a reduced seating capacity after the South Carolina Department of Commerce approved
the Gamecock Athletics Department's plan for seating at its football, soccer and volleyball
facilities. announced that fall sports home events will be allowed to have spectators Due to these capacity restrictions, a limited-number of student tickets will be available
for football games and soccer matches this fall. Students, along with general fans,
will not be able to attend volleyball matches this fall. Since there will be reduced capacities at football and soccer this fall, the student
ticketing process for both sports has been revised. Soccer tickets must be claimed
in advance like other sports. Please review the changes to the program. If you have

CHANGES FOR THE 2020 SEASON
Due to the limited number of tickets available to students for each game, the following
overall changes are in place:
If you qualify for a ticket, you will only be able to attend 1 football game this
Points earned from attending soccer, football and other fall sports will not be used
to prioritize football tickets for the 2020 season.
Students who attend a football game will not receive a point for attending.
For this year only, returning students will receive 20% of their points from last
Student tickets will still be general admission. However, students will be required
to sit in a physically distanced format, noted by stickers on the seats.
Students will be required to wear a mask while entering/exiting Williams-Brice Stadium,
while on the concourses and when heading to and from their seat. Students are strongly

Students must present CarolinaCard along with their mobile ticket upon entry on athletic
Stricter penalties have been put in place for footballl no shows and violation of
stadium policies. If you have a ticket and do not use it or if you are ejected from
a game for any reason, you may lose your ticketing privileges for the 2021 season.
Guest tickets will not be available for any athletic events during the remainder of

Football concessions in the student section will only have water and soda for sale.
Students will be able to exit the student section to purchase additional concessions
items. Consistent with existing policy, no alcohol is permitted in the student section
– even alcohol purchased legally from another section of the stadium.
Individuals who have directives to stay in isolation or quarantine that choose to
violate those directives to attend an athletic event may be subject to discipline
by the institution and a referral to DHEC which could result in jail or severe fine.
