Background

Michelle began working at the University of South Carolina in 2020, and she also advises the Carolina Judicial Council Student Organization. Previously, Michelle served as a Disaster Program Specialist with the American Red Cross. She has a background in conduct boards, student organization misconduct, behavioral misconduct and academic misconduct. She has also been teaching University 101 since 2021 at the University of South Carolina and served on the Division of Student Affairs Professional Development Team for two years.  

Michelle has a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in International Studies from the University of North Carolina – Charlotte and a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Louisiana State University. Michelle is a member of the Association for Student Conduct Administrators (ASCA). Michelle is a graduate of the ASCA Donald D. Gehring Academy and a graduate of the Emerging Leaders Program at the University of South Carolina.  

Michelle’s favorite tenet of the Carolinian Creed is “I will practice personal and academic integrity.
