Background
Maureen has worked in student conduct since 2009 and has a background in CARE teams, behavioral misconduct, academic misconduct, Title IX, conduct boards and student organization misconduct. Previously, Maureen served as the Assistant Director and Coordinator at USC. She also teaches University 101 and University 401.
Maureen has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Human Services from Elon University and a Master of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina. Maureen also received a Master’s certificate in Drug and Addiction Studies from the University of South Carolina’s College of Social Work. She is a member of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) and the Association for Student Conduct Administrators (ASCA). Maureen is a graduate of the ASCA Donald D. Gehring Academy. Maureen is an alumna member of Alpha Chi Omega.
Maureen’s favorite tenet of the Carolinian Creed is “I will demonstrate concern for others, their feelings, and their need for conditions which support their work and development” because it reminds her that Gamecocks all support one another.

Outside of work, Maureen is a member of the Junior League of Columbia where she enjoys volunteering. She also loves travel, being outdoors and trying new restaurants.
