L.E.T.S. Series

The Learning, Engaging, Transforming and Socializing (L.E.T.S.) Series is an opportunity for division members to participate in a variety of professional development. The informal setting provides opportunities to build mentoring relationships between new and established professionals.

Cooking Class

When: noon-1:30 p.m. Friday, March 27
Where: Center for Health and Well-Being Demonstration Kitchen

Space is limited to 20 participants. Please note, if you are unable to attend and do not notify the Professional Development Team ( by Friday, March 20, you will be responsible for covering a $10 no-show fee.


Emergency Management

At some point, many Student Affairs and Academic Support employees will find that they may need to serve as a campus responder for a critical incident. In this session, participants will be provided an overview of the UofSC Emergency Management/Preparedness Program for the Columbia campus. Additionally, individuals will gain tips and information to better prepare not only themselves, but their families, for critical incidents that may affect them. Kelley Fink, Housing assistant director for business operations, will facilitate.

Registration is required for all L.E.T.S. events.
