Held each May, IdeaPOP! is an in-house conference that examines higher education trends and issues through addresses and workshops featuring content that aligns with the ACPA/NASPA Professional Competency Areas for Student Affairs Practitioners [pdf].

Call for Proposals

The Professional Development Team invites proposals for educational sessions, roundtable discussions and TED Talk-style presentations. Submit your proposal by March 27.



IdeaPOP! 2021 - "RISE: Reframing in Shifting Environments"

When: 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 12
Where: All sessions will be offered virtually; some also will be offered in person at the Russell House

The conference theme, "RISE: Reframing in Shifting Environments," will inspire participants to reframe and refocus on why it's important to work in higher education. A conference schedule, including descriptions of sessions, will be posted when it's available. 

IdeaPOP! is open to all Student Affairs and Academic Support staff members and graduate assistants. Registration is required.
