Rebecca Lancaster serves as Lead Senior Director of Development for the Division of Student Affairs and Academic Support at the University of South Carolina, where she leads philanthropic strategy and donor engagement efforts supporting student success, well-being, and experiential learning initiatives. Prior to joining the University of South Carolina in 2017, Lancaster held leadership roles in nonprofit, museum, and historic site administration organizations across the Southeast, building a career centered on community engagement, meaningful partnerships, and mission-driven philanthropy.

Lancaster earned a Master of Arts in Public History from North Carolina State University and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Political Science, with a concentration in Public Policy and Administration, from Winthrop University. Her work reflects a strong commitment to advancing student success and enhancing the student experience through strategic philanthropic engagement.
