Completed Projects
Our work reflects a focus on advancing the Division of Student Affairs and Academic Support and enhancing our campus offerings for Gamecocks past, present and future. We are proud to show off our recent successes, including the revitalized Thornwell Residence Hall completed in the fall of 2025.

South Quad Student Space
Reconfigured student spaces completed in South Quad in 2025 create a functional and inviting space where Global Fellows can come together for events, collaborate and learn in a unique environment, and engage with diverse cultures.

South Tower Lobby
Completed in 2025, updates to South Tower included the removal of the main lobby desk to create more longe seating areas for students. The new lobby is designed to support collaboration and social interaction among the residents.

Carolina Coliseum U101
The University 101 suite in the Carolina Coliseum was enhanced to create a more welcoming and comfortable space for the top-ranked program. Decorative upgrades, including softer lighting, area rugs, pillows, artwork and plants added in 2025.

Russell House Center for Student Engagement
Lounge areas have been established throughout the Russell House as part of our effort to foster a welcoming environment for our students and faculty, including in the brand new Center for Student Engagement, completed in fall 2025.
