As Director of Research Training, Bob Wertz leads the design and delivery of training programs for faculty researchers and research administration professionals across the university.
Prior to this role, Wertz served as senior associate director of visual branding. He has taught as an adjunct instructor since 2004 within the School of Journalism and Mass Communications and the School of Visual Art and Design, and in recent years, he has led visual identity and brand training across campus. Wertz earned his Bachelor of Arts in advertising and his master’s degree in mass communications from the University of South Carolina. He is currently earning his Ph.D. in mass communications from the University of South Carolina.
