The Dean of the Graduate School reports directly to the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost and is a member of the Council of Academic Deans. The position description will be posted in October 2022.
The search for the position of the Dean of the Graduate School began in September 2022. The Dean of the Graduate School at the University of South Carolina will lead a service unit committed to enhancing the experience of graduate students and the faculty and staff with whom they work. The Graduate School staff provide timely, consistent, and accurate information; adapt and enforce meaningful policies to ensure academic integrity; track student success; and build bridges across campus and community to showcase the university’s diverse and talented graduate student body.
