Provost Meetings

All Academic Deans, Associate and Assistant Deans, Department Chairs, SmartState Chairs, Directors of Schools, Programs, Faculty Senators, Institutes and Centers, System Campus Academic Leadership, Carolina Distinguished Professors, Vice Presidents and Vice Provosts are invited to the Provost's Meeting, near the beginning of each semester.

Fall 2018 Meeting

The next meeting will be held on September 28, 2018 from 8:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Russell House Ballroom. A continental breakfast will be included.

GAMECOCK: RH Ballroom, RH 303, RH 304

Attendees with the Gamecock on their badges will first attend the Experiential Learning session in the Russell House ballroom. The second session is Excellence Initiative in room 303 and the third session is Year of Creativity in room 304.  All participants will meet back in the ballroom at the conclusion of the breakout sessions.

Attendees with Cocky on their badges will first attend the Excellence Initiative in room 303. The second session will be Year of Creativity in room 304. Finally, session three which is Experiential Learning session in the Russell House ballroom.  All participants will meet back in the ballroom at the conclusion of the breakout sessions.

Provost's Faculty Forum, Spring 2016

Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, Joan T. A. Gabel, hosted a faculty forum on Wednesday, January 13. All faculty were invited to attend. The Provost spoke about her first four months at the university and shared her vision for the future.
