Before joining Student Life, Janie worked at the USC Visitor Center for eight years where she focused on creating an exceptional first impression for prospective students and their families. She led a comprehensive training and professional development program for peer leaders and staff responsible for serving over 100,000 visitors each year.

Before starting her career at USC, Janie participated in a year of national service with AmeriCorps in Knoxville, Tenn., and currently serves as a local Dining for Women chapter leader, raising funds to support women and children living in extreme poverty.
