Leadership Enrichment and Development (LEAD) Cohort

The Leadership Enrichment and Development (LEAD) Cohort will be a group of student leaders committed to advancing the student experience beyond the classroom on the UofSC campus.

Cultivate positive change and connect with fellow student leaders.

By participating in the LEAD Cohort, students will have opportunities for greater collaboration among other student leaders on our campus and will increase their ability to exercise leadership for positive change.

Am I eligible?

The LEAD Cohort is open to students who will be juniors, seniors, or graduate students in the Fall of 2019. Ideal applicants to the cohort are students who serve as positional or nonpositional leaders of student organizations and/or student-led initiatives on our campus. Additionally to participate, students must have at least a 2.5 GPA, be in good standing with the university, and agree to commit to the following:

-Attend LEAD Cohort Orientation on April 29 from 5-6:15 p.m.
-Attend the LEAD Retreat, May 8-9, 2019
-Engage in a committee that contributes to a yearlong project to better the student experience
-Meet at least monthly throughout the 2019-2020 academic year

The 2019-2020 Leadership Enrichment and Development (LEAD) Cohort will be a group of students committed to advancing the student experience beyond the classroom on the UofSC campus.

Students who wish to be a part of the LEAD Cohort, must be able to commit to the following:

-Meet at least monthly throughout the 2019-2020 academic year

Transportation, lodging, meals, and materials for the retreat and other activities throughout the year will be provided.
