Graduate Assistantships

Graduate assistantships are a great way to get experience in your field of study. They also help supplement your tuition in order to make your education more affordable. 

Quick facts about graduate assistantships:

  1. The best way to find graduate assistantships is to speak with your Academic Department.
  2. International Student Services has up to four graduate assistant positions-- they tend to be in high demand and are typically filled quickly. When a position is available, we will advertise through our Listserv. Make sure you're signed up to receive our emails!
  3. If you are a graduate assistant, 6 credit hours is considered full-time enrollment. 
  4. Graduate assistants (including teaching assistants and research assistants) can work up to 20 hours during the school year and up to 40 hours during winter and summer breaks.
