Ariel is a current MSW student and intern at the University. Ariel is a recent graduate of the University of South Carolina where she received her B.A in Elementary Education. While pursuing her B.A, she was involved in the Teaching Fellows Program which provided multiple serving opportunities in the Columbia area, and she worked at a local nonprofit that supported families experiencing homelessness.

Ariel has worked with nonprofits both locally and internationally providing a variety of services to different populations. She has traveled, frequently, to Haiti and Guatemala working with organizations to help provide needs to youth and their families. Her passion for service and her heart for students is what led her to pursue her MSW in the hopes that she will become a school social worker and/or work with international nonprofits in the future.
