Simon Tarr

Dr. Simon Tarr, Faculty Principal

Simon is a filmmaker, educator and researcher who has been honored nationally and internationally for teaching innovations and groundbreaking digital art. He has been working closely with undergraduate students for over 20 years.

Amelia Quint

Amelia Quint, Assistant Principal

A South Carolina native, Amelia has been a Gamecock for over a decade. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of South Carolina in 2010 and has since gone on to write for a variety of publications, including Random House Canada’s Hazlitt. As an undergraduate, she participated in many of the unique experiences available to Rhodos students, including study abroad in Italy through a travel grant, Carolina Productions, Capstone Scholars and serving as a U101 peer leader. Amelia loves meeting with students and helping them discover how they can make the most of their time at Carolina.

Coy Gibson

Coy Gibson, Business Manager

Coy is from Camden, South Carolina and currently serves as business manager for the Rhodos Fellows Living and Learning Community. He manages financial accounts, vendor relationships, office spaces and supports student-led programs at Rhodos. He attained dual master’s degrees in international business and management from the Darla Moore School of Business and ESCP Europe Business School in Paris, France. He earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of South Carolina Honors College.
