Preston Residential College

Preston Hall Government

We are the voice of advocacy for Preston. We encourage you to join us in our efforts to create an active and engaged campus culture.

Residents involved in Hall Government engage in discussions and debates regarding our community. The group is guided by the Preston Hall Government Constitution [pdf]. Funding is available for any resident to help fund programs and initiatives for Preston. Meetings are held Sundays at 8 p.m. in the Seminar Room.

Thomas Houston

Thomas Houston, Moderator

Thomas Houston is from St. Augustine, FL. He is excited to start his second year at UofSC and to come back to Preston! Last year within Hall Government he served as a wing representative during the first semester, and as treasurer the second. He is an experimental psychology major with a minor in business administration with the hopes of going to graduate or medical school before being commissioned into the United States Navy. Outside of his role as moderator within Preston, Thomas is also the Founding Father and President of the Pi colony of Epsilon Tau Pi, a National Eagle Scout service fraternity on campus.
