Mold & Mildew Prevention

University of South Carolina is located in Columbia, SC and year round we experience a very humid climate.  Mold and fungal spores exist outdoors and are part of the natural environment.

It is impossible to completely eliminate mold spores, but students can take proactive measures to maintain a healthy living environment on campus.

A portion of this section on Healthy Living Environment was adapted from The University of Tennessee Knoxville Housing Website.
