IFC has placed philanthropy and service at the forefront of their mission. Fraternities raise money for both local and national philanthropy causes, annually raising over $250,000. In 2019, the IFC chose to support USC Dance Marathon (USCDM) in their efforts to raise money for the Prisma Health Children’s Hospital. In addition to encouraging chapters to participate in USCDM,  IFC hosted Greek Bowl, a flag football tournament with all proceeds going to the children’s hospital. The Greek Bowl event and the individual chapter efforts combined to donate over $76,000 to Prisma Health Children’s Hospital.

Fraternities regularly give back to the local community through service projects, annually providing over 15,000 hours of service. On top of chapter efforts, beginning fall 2019 the IFC will be participating in adopt-a-highway, adopting Shop Road by William Brice Stadium.
