About Me

I am originally from Elgin, South Carolina, and I have lived in S.C. for my entire life. I started my career in education as a middle level science teacher, having previously taught in Charleston and Richland Counties. After my transition from the K-12 classroom, I joined USC's College of Education where I worked to prepare future teachers. Now, I am continuing my passion for mentoring and coaching students as a National Fellowships Coordinator for STEM awards. In my free time, I enjoy shopping, attending USC women's basketball games, browsing Pinterest for home decor ideas and working on DIY projects.
