South Caroliniana Library

The South Caroliniana Library is undergoing a full renovation, with work starting in the fall of 2020. The project intends to restore the building to how it looked in the early 1900s after wings were added that were designed by J. Carroll Johnson. The original building was based on plans by Robert Mills, a native South Carolinian who was the nation's first federal architect.
