 USC’s exchange program with BEM Management School in Senegal offers students the opportunity to gain insight into West African business practices and culture while studying at a top-ranked institution. Located in Dakar, Senegal’s vibrant coastal capital, BEM is a leading business school known for its international outlook, strong corporate partnerships, and commitment to academic excellence. With over 215 professors and students representing 29+ nationalities, BEM provides a diverse and dynamic learning environment. Per university policy, all UofSC students will be charged emergency medical, evacuation and repatriation insurance for their time abroad. Contact the Education Abroad Office for more details.

 Students are encouraged to start the housing process as soon as nominations are made. 

USC IB students will attend BEM in the Spring semester.

 

 For longer stays, U.S. travelers should obtain visas directly at either the Senegalese Embassy in Washington, D.C., or the Senegalese Consulate in New York City prior to travel. As entry requirements are subject to change, travelers should obtain the latest information from the Embassy of Senegal.
