Data Loss Prevention

as a framework for the University of South Carolina's implementation and us of DLP
technology. The Scanning and Notification Schedule is provided to allow greater transparency
into the schedule of routine DLP scans.

and Organizational Units (OU) use this process to request data access from Data Stewards.
Minimum Security

resources to address them are not. The University Information Security Office values
practical, evidence-based solutions. The Minimum Security Standards are a result of
that practice.
Payment Card Industry
Per Policy UNIV 1.51, the PCI Cryptographic Key Management Standard, PCI Penetration
Testing Standard, and PCI Vulnerability Scanning Standard have been approved by the
Data Administration Advisory Council.
Project Management Security Checklist
This checklist is an essential tool for project managers. It helps identify key security
roles and details security steps to address during the project.
Vulnerability Management
Per Policy UNIV 1.51, this Vulnerability Management Standard has been approved by
the Data Administration Advisory Committee (DAAC) as a framework for the identification
and remediation of vulnerabilities that could impact the university's data, systems,
