The professional association for those interested in improving business effectiveness through quality data and information. All, including full-time practitioners, those impacted by poor data and information quality, and those who just want to learn more, are welcome!

Data Science Association

The Data Science Association is a non-profit professional group that offers education, professional certification, a "Data Science Code of Professional Conduct" and conferences / meetups to discuss data science (e.g. predictive / prescriptive analytics, algorithm design and execution, applied machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization). Our members are professionals, students, researchers, academics and others with a deep interest in data science and related technologies.

The ACM Special Interest Group on Management of Data

The ACM Special Interest Group on Management of Data is concerned with the principles, techniques and applications of database management systems and data management technology. Our members include software developers, academic and industrial researchers, practitioners, users, and students. SIGMOD sponsors the annual SIGMOD/PODS conference, one of the most important and selective in the field.

Storage Networking Industry Association (Analytics and Big Data Committee)

The ABDC mission addresses marketing outreach, education, and collaboration with other industry bodies relative to Analytics and Big Data efforts. Also, the ABDC will closely follow of the advancements in Analytics and Big Data science, product offerings and business models from academia, industry and the research community.
