Service Delivery and Support Update: January 30, 2019

 

This December, we successfully completed Phase 3 of the Service Delivery and Support program. This included the addition of Project Portfolio Suite, updates to Incidents and Changes, and more.

Link Project Tasks and Enhancements to Changes in ServiceNow


We have implemented additional functionality to Enhancements and Project Tasks, allowing related Changes to be linked to these ticket types. In order to associate your project tasks or enhancements with a change, please follow these steps:

  • First, submit your change through ServiceNow, following the Change process.
  • Open your Project Task ticket or Enhancement.
  • Locate the Change Request field on the right-hand side of the form, and search for your Change.
  • Click on your change to add it to the Enhancement or Project Task. Click "Save" or "Update" to capture your updates.

If you are experiencing any unusual behavior associating Changes with your Project Tasks or Enhancements, please clear your web browser's cache.

 

Upgrade to London Release

 

We will be upgrading to the London release of ServiceNow. New features to London include improved Dashboard capabilities, Service Portal guided tours, and other functionality. Stay tuned for UAT (User Acceptance Testing) information and our planned upgrade date. If you have any questions about this upgrade, please let us know.
