Michelle Bryan, Ph.D.

Michelle is charged with bridging vision and strategy, developing and implementing capacity building, and execution and leadership of critical institutional initiatives, policies and projects, including reviewing Diversity and Inclusive Excellence grants. Dr. Bryan also serves a senior diversity leader, consultant and thought partner who provides targeted support towards establishing a comprehensive and well-coordinated set of systemic actions that foster greater diversity, equity, inclusion and accountability at every level of university life on every USC campus. She also is an associate professor in the College of Education.

Khristina DeLorenzo

Khristina DeLorenzo is a program assistant to the team. Her responsibilities as a program assistant encompass a wide range of duties, including event planning and management, participant communication, data tracking and analysis, and logistical support.

Kareemah Hosendove, M.Ed.

Kareemah Hosendove reports to and provides executive-level support to the VP. Kareemah also manages and coordinates complex administrative and support functions for the department. With being the HR initiator and overseer of the unit’s budget, she also manages and coordinates a wide range of projects, programs and events in addition to coordinating/assisting with award/grant applications and annual reporting.

Shalama Jackson develops and executes the integrated communications strategy for the Division of Access, Civil Rights and Community Engagement, including the promotion of major initiatives, strategic priorities, signature events, and core functions of the office to key campus constituents and the community.

Anthony L. James

Dr. Anthony James will develop and lead educational programming for students, faculty and staff that promotes understanding and increase engagement on diversity-related matters. In this role, he will serve as a consultant and strategic thought leader who builds, maintains and shares resources to increase the capacity of the campus community to engage in healthy dialogue across differences. He is a 2018 alum of the University.

Julian Williams

Julian R. Williams

Julian R. Williams is the vice president for Access, Civil Rights and Community Engagement. In this role, he serves as the university’s chief diversity officer and leads the Division of Access, Civil Rights and Community Engagement.
