Demographics

For three consecutive years USC Columbia has been the recipient of INSIGHT Into Diversity's Higher Education Excellence in Diversity Award.

Rankings

  • 16th in the number of degrees awarded to African Americans in Mathematics and Statistics; and,
  • 74th in the number of degrees awarded to African Americans in all disciplines combined. This translates to the top 3% of 4-year institutions in the country in the number if degrees awarded to African American students.
