The Office of Distributed Learning installed a lightboard in one of its studios for faculty use. A lightboard allows instructors to face the camera while writing on the glass surface with fluorescent markers while the session is recorded, ensuring both the text and presenter remain visible throughout. A lightboard is especially useful for recording content where visuals, such as equations, formulas, and diagrams, are a fundamental part of many explanations and may be valuable for faculty and instructors in science, math, or technology fields.
