After graduating from the Darla Moore School of Business with a bachelor’s of accounting, John began his career in human re­sources as the Human Resources and Operations Manager at a veterinary hospital in the midlands. Over the next 20 years, John has held various human resources positions that allowed him to develop a passion for recruiting the best employees and creating dynamic and impactful onboarding and development programs. John’s introduction into human resources in the food service sec­tor started with Sonic Drive In where he was responsible for all human resources functions for 100 restaurants in 6 states with a total of 4500 employees. Most recently, John joined the Aramark team at the University of South Carolina and works closely with operations to develop a unified, competent team that provides the best dining experience to every guest on campus.
