Description
Quality Matters is a faculty-centered review process that is designed to assess the quality of online and blended courses. The Quality Matters Rubric is a set of 8 general standards and 41 specific standards provided to help you evaluate course design. The Center for Teaching Excellence has adopted the rubric as a guide to best practices. This session presents an overview of the rubric, including an explanation of how the standards relate to each other and how they are applied to an online class. The session also shows how to use the rubric to support course design, development and delivery, providing examples and suggestions.
