Graduate Assistant Emergency Financial Burden Loan Fund

A Graduate Assistant Emergency Financial Burden Loan Program has been set up to assist graduate assistants that may have a financial burden due to timing of payrolls.

The program is designed to ease financial burden for graduate assistants. The max loan is $500 and will be repaid over four pay periods in equal installments as a deduction from your payroll earnings. An application and promissory note are available for this program and can be found on the Controller’s Office website should assistance be needed.

The application and promissory note can be emailed to Controller@sc.edu. Once the application and promissory note is received, your graduate assistant position will be verified and a check will be issued. A phone call will be made for pickup when the check is available – generally the same day. Pickup will be at the Controller’s Office at 1600 Hampton Street, Suite 613.

If you have any questions or need additional information, you may email to Controller@sc.edu.
