1. Regardless of individual course grades, students must maintain a minimum 2.00 cumulative GPA.
2. Courses indicated in the Program GPA column are included in the Integrated Information Technology program GPA minimum requirement of 2.00.
3. The Carolina Core provides the common core of knowledge, skill and academic experience for all Carolina undergraduate students.
4. The ITEC program requires either ACCT 222 and an approved elective or both RETL 261 and 262.
5. Students in the College of Engineering and Computing are required to demonstrate proficiency in one foreign language equivalent to the 121 course by placement or coursework.
6. The IIT curriculum includes 3-14 hours of electives depending on how students fulfill the Carolina Core, Founding Documents, and Supporting Courses requirements. UNIV 101 is recommended in the first semester.
7. Internship is coordinated by a faculty member and supervised by an approved business supervisor. Internship agreement approval by supervisor and instructor is required.
8. ITEC Elective: any 3-credit ITEC course numbered 400 or above that is not used to satisfy a major or minor requirement.

Program Notes

• Courses designated as “critical” may affect time to graduation due to prerequisite requirements for subsequent required courses.
• A student cannot repeat College of Engineering and Computing courses in which a grade of C or better was earned, and no more than four college courses may be repeated in order to satisfy degree requirements.
• All undergraduate students must take a 3-credit course or its equivalent with a passing grade that covers the founding documents. This course may fulfill any requirement in the program of study. Courses that meet this requirement are listed in the academic bulletin. 
• In order to satisfy the requirements for a degree in Integrated Information Technology, a student may not take an ITEC course more than two times.
• The last 25% of the degree must be completed in residence at the University, and at least half of the major and minor hours must be taken at the University.
