1. Regardless of individual course grades, students must maintain a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA.
2. Some colleges require a minimum GPA for major courses. Courses indicated in this column are included in the major GPA for this program of study.
3. The Carolina Core provides the common core of knowledge, skill and academic experience for all Carolina undergraduate students.
4. The Carolina Core requires either two approved courses in one foreign language or a score of 2 or higher on the placement test.
5. Students must complete three psychology courses (9 hours) or others as approved by advisor: PSYC 300, 301, 330, 350, 360, 400, 405, 410, 420, 430, 440, 450, 455, 465, 475, 503, 507, 510, 520, 526, 583, 589.
6. Students must complete one social work course (3 hours) or another as approved by advisor: SOWK 222, 303, 305, 311, 341.

Program Notes

• All undergraduate students must take a 3-credit course or its equivalent with a passing grade that covers the founding documents. This course may fulfill any requirement in the program of study. Courses that meet this requirement are listed in the academic bulletin.
• Students in the Department of Educational and Developmental Science may attempt to earn a satisfactory grade in a major course no more than two times.
