As the Business Manager, Uniqua manages the main office, website and phone. She assists with budgeting both CIEL accounts, as well as managing reimbursements for staff and the CIEL student grant. A big part of her duties is serving as the HR contact for the office, any hiring or changes in employment in the office is handled by her. 

Prior to joining the CIEL team, Uniqua was a first-generation college graduate and alumni of the University of South Carolina, where she obtained her bachelor's degree in arts and sciences. Uniqua previously worked for a non-profit organization as Executive Manager, where she helped high school students transition into their first year of college. 

Uniqua is from Pelion, South Carolina and enjoys spending time with family, especially her 7 year old son Carter. In her free time, she enjoys binge watching her favorite TV shows and finding something adventurous to do with Carter.
