A virtual learning environment for the classroom, encouraging interdisciplinary study by merging art and the humanities for K-12 education
At the Center for Digital Humanities we strive to maintain a collection of resources for all those interested in or working with Digital Humanities. Below, you can find links to various resources including resources for funding and support, digital humanities in the classroom, and tools.
The Center for Digital Humanities is pleased to announce several new resources for
USC faculty and students, beginning February 1, 2018. The Center has created instances
of the popular academic social media platforms Omeka, Scalar, and WordPress, which
we recommend for many basic Digital Humanities projects for faculty, staff and students.
These will run on CDH servers and we will host and serve them in perpetuity (with
some important qualifications).

Giovanni Battista Piranesi was an innovative graphic artist most known for his architectural studies of Rome and imaginary prisons. “The Digital Piranesi” aims to make this rare material accessible in a complete digital collection and, in an interactive digital edition, to make it visible, legible, and searchable in ways that the original works are not.
An organization composed of scholars, teachers, researchers, and enthusiasts dedicated to the digital publication and study of previously unpublished letters, diaries, and miscellaneous papers of important Victorian writers.
We also regularly work with people interested in creating mapping projects. In past years, we have helped build custom mapping solutions, for example on Plants & Planter and The Burning of Columbia. We collaborate with the USC Geography Department to help find appropriate resources for USC faculty, staff, and students for mapping projects.
