Rachel Mann is a Ph.D. student (ABD) at the University of South Carolina where she is specializing in early eighteenth-century British literature. Her emphasis is on the intersection of natural philosophy and literature. During her time at the CDH Mann has served as a TEI specialist on the Lone Woman and Last Indians Digital Archive, as a co-editor on the collected works of Gavin Turnbull, and, currently, as a project manager for the Carlyle Letters Online project. Relatedly, Mann has co-taught an XML and XSLT workshop that is open to faculty, graduate and undergraduate students and is an active member of the Digital Learning Initiative.
