In this topic, you will learn how to verify the account distributions in order to activate a contract.
Steps:
Begin by navigating to the Fixed Fee Acctg Distribution page.
Click the Main Menu button.
Step 1Click the Customer Contracts menu.
Step 2Click the Create and Amend menu.
Step 3Click the Fixed Fee Acctg Distribution menu.
Step 4Click in the Business Unit field.
Step 5Enter the desired information into the Business Unit field.
Enter "USCSP".
Step 6Click in the Contract field.
Step 7Enter the desired information into the Contract field.
Enter "CON0000004".
Step 8Click the Search button.
Step 9Use the Accounting Distribution page to review and adjust the accounting distributions for contract lines and discounts for amount-based contract lines.
Step 10The Accounting Distribution page is effective dated. This is where you may enter the date from which the accounting distribution is effective.
Step 11The Revenue account distribution defaults from the distribution code for the product you selected onto the contract line. You can update the existing row or add additional rows. For rate-based contract lines, this group box is not available.
Step 12Use the Unbilled AR account to enter or update accounting distribution details associated with the contract line. The unbilled AR account defaults from the contract line's product category, or, if no unbilled AR account was specified at that level, it defaults from the contract line's Contracts business unit. The unbilled AR account distributions are editable upon initial entry of the contract line and can be changed until the time the contract is activated.
Step 13Click the Home link to begin a new navigation.
