In this topic, you will learn how to review limits and transaction limits information for rate-based contract lines.
Steps:
Begin by navigating to the Review and Manage Limits page.
Click the Main Menu button.
Step 1Click the Customer Contracts menu.
Step 2Click the Adjust Revenue and Billing menu.
Step 3Click the Review and Manage Limits menu.
Step 4Use the fields in the Search Criteria group box to filter search results by entering specific values in these fields. Values in the Business Unit, Limit Type, Sold To Customer, and Review By fields are required search criteria. Search results appear in the Limits scroll area. Amounts appear in the contract currency.
Step 5Click in the Business Unit field.
Step 6Enter the desired information into the Business Unit Required field.
Enter "USCSP".
Step 7Click in the Sold To Customer field.
Step 8Enter the desired information into the Sold To Customer field.
Enter "SPN0000002".
Step 9Click the Search button.
Step 10The Limit Amount field displays the line and transaction limit amounts for this contract line.
Step 11The Processed Amount field displays the processed amounts for the contract line and transaction limits. These amounts include the totals of all billable and billed transactions.
Step 12The Processed Amount field is updated during the Limits process from the previous balance to a new balance. This field is impacted by any manual adjustments of bills within Billing, but it may not be in sync with the manual adjustments unless the totals are recalculated.
Step 13The Remaining Amount field displays the remaining amounts for the contract line and transaction limits. These are the calculated totals of the limit amount less the processed amount. If this difference is a negative amount, the value that displays in the field is zero.
