Analyzing projects allows you to see real-time project information that is pulled from the project summary tables and displays all resource transactions for a selected project.
Steps:
Begin by navigating to the Transaction List page.
Click the Main Menu button.
Step 1Click the Project Costing menu.
Step 2Click the Transaction Definitions menu.
Step 3Click the Transaction List menu.
Step 4Click the Look up Business Unit (Alt+5) button.
Step 5Click the USCSP link.
Step 6Click the Look up Project (Alt+5) button.
Step 7Click the 20000029 link.
Step 8Click the Search button.
Step 9Use the Transaction List page to view transactions that belong to a project activity.
Step 10Use the Analysis Group field to filter the transactions that you want to view. You can view only the transactions that belong to analysis groups to which you have been granted security access.
Step 11Click the Look up Analysis Group (Alt+5) button.
Step 12Click the BUD link.
Step 13Click the Choose a date (Alt+5) button.
Step 14Click the desired date.
Step 15Click the Choose a date (Alt+5) button.
Step 16Click the desired date.
Step 17Choose from "Accounting Date", "Journal Date", "Posted Date", or "Transaction Date"
.
Click the Date Type list.
Step 18Click the Accounting Date list item.
Step 19Click the Search button.
Step 20Use the Transaction Detail button to access the Transaction Detail page where you can view more detailed information for a particular transaction.
Step 21Click the Transaction Detail button.
Step 22Note the extensive amount of transaction information on the page.
Click the Return to Project Transactions link.
Step 23Use the Drill to Source button to view the PeopleSoft application where the transaction originated. You'll also see information on how the row was created.
Step 24Click the Drill to Source button.
Step 25Click the OK button.
Step 26Click the Save button.
