Running the Projects_Contracts Interface Process


In this topic, you will learn how to run the Projects_Contracts Interface Process.


Steps:

  1. Begin by navigating to the Update Contract/Projects Data page.

     

    Click the Main Menu button.

  2. Click the Billing menu.

  3. Click the Generate Invoices menu.

  4. Click the Utilities menu.

  5. Click the Update Contract/Projects Data menu.

  6. Click in the Run Control ID field.

  7. Enter the desired information into the Run Control ID field.

     

    Enter "GMUPDT01".

  8. Click the Search button.

  9. Use the Update Contract/Projects Data page to enter parameters. These parameters will be used to define the processing rules and data to be included when the process is run.

  10. Click in the From Invoice field.

  11. Enter the desired information into the From Invoice field.

     

    Enter "GRC-000006-RMB".

  12. Click in the To Invoice field to populate it.

  14. Use the Process Scheduler Request page to enter or update parameters, such as server name and process output format.

  18. Notice the Process Instance number appears. This number helps you identify the process you have run when you check the status.

  19. Click the Process Monitor link.

  20. Use the Process List page to view the status of submitted process requests. Continue clicking Refresh until the run status shows Success and the distribution status shows Posted.

  22. Continue to click Refresh until the Run Status shows "Success" and the Distribution Status shows "Posted".
