Processing Limits


In this topic, you will learn how to process limits using the Process Limits run control page.


Steps:

  1. Begin by navigating to the Process Limits page.

     

    Click the Main Menu button.

  2. Click the Customer Contracts menu.

  3. Click the Update Contract Progress menu.

  4. Click the Process Limits menu.

  5. You can run the process by searching for an existing Run Control ID, or you can create a new value. Creating a Run Control ID that is relevant to the process may help you remember it for future use.

  6. Click the Add a New Value tab.

  7. A Run Control ID is an identifier that uniquely identifies and defines parameters that are used when a process is run.

  8. Click in the Run Control ID field.

  9. Enter the desired information into the Run Control ID field.

     

    Enter "PROCESS_LIMITS".

  10. Click the Add button.

  11. Use the Process Limits page to enter the request parameters. These parameters will be used to define the processing rules and data to be included when the process is run.

  12. Click in the Business Unit field.

  13. Enter the desired information into the Business Unit field.

     

    Enter "USCSP".

  14. Click the Run button.

  15. Use the Process Scheduler Request page to enter or update parameters, such as server name and process output format.

  17. Click the PSUNX list item.

  19. Notice that this process has been assigned a Process Instance number. This number can be used to track this process.

  20. Click the Process Monitor link.

  22. Continue to click the Refresh button until the Run Status is "Success" and Distribution Status is "Posted".
