The university uses Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to reach out to its constituents and solicit feedback. The university also has a subscription to the location-based social media platform: SCVNGR. Below are links to many of the pages used by campus-affiliated groups.

The university's athletic department also has a channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/gamecocksonline

Users can subscribe to the channels and receive alerts when new videos are posted.

Twitter at the University of South Carolina

The official university Twitter account is @UofSC. We use that to help our followers find us without having to sift through Southern Cal news. #UofSC is a good hashtag to post information of interest to university followers as is #Gamecocks or #GoCocks. You can search by hashtag to find news related to that subject area or you can follow the various Twitter accounts used by university-related groups.
